The Challenge was to develop a logo and brand identity to unite women’s professional cycling.
We achieved this through symbols and colours that conveyed unity, feminity and strength. We looked closely at existing sport unions branding to help to give guidance on how to correctly position the look and feel. The founder and board of directors all agreed that the branding perfectly fitted spirit of the new women's cycling union.

Design a range of accessories and branding for the Qhubeka bicycle.
After being brought on to help complete the final engineering and detailing of the frame our focus shifted to the accessories and product branding of the bicycle.
The bicycles are handed out as program bicycles by the Qhubeka charity. This was a brand new bicycle designed specifically for Qhubeka. We used the accessories as visual elements bringing in additional color and texture to the final design of the bicycle.
The accessories are injection molded. This is done for functional reasons as the metal alternatives rusted, dented and bent out of shape easily. However, using plastic also allowed the addition of color without a large increase in part cost.

Client - Believ Agency for Project Last Mile
Project Last Mile (PLM) believes that if you can get a can of Coke anywhere in Africa, you should also be able to get life saving medicine anywhere in Africa.
The direction of the look and feel was to keep the brand closely tied to Coca-Cola (PLM’s primary partner) but to try to give it, its own identity to appeal to other corporate donors as well. This was done by using Coke Red as a primary highlight colour but to use complimentary shades of grey and blue which allow PLM to play with the weight of colour depending on the sponsor but keeping the brand consistant.

This was our second collaboration with Agile Spaces. They wanted corporate furniture that was locally designed and manufactured that could compete in both design and quality with international competitors. Abooth with its soft curves and slightly angled surfaces creates a private yet inviting setting. These booths can be used for informal meeting spaces when placed facing each other. The corporate furniture range was further developed to include a low back couch and armchair that works well in office settings.
